We’re privileged to work in partnership with Rotary NW England & Isle of Man, an international organisation who work to make lasting change in local communities & around the world. 

Petty Pool are proud to host Rotary District Youth Exchange programmes year on year to provide young people the opportunity of a lifetime.

Rotary Youth Leaders Award

We also host the annual Rotary Youth Leaders Award, at which chosen teenagers from across the North-West, are sponsored to attend a course designed by us, aimed at developing skills based on leadership, communication and cooperation.

Urban Kids Go Outdoors

Urban Kids Go Outdoors provides children from disadvantaged backgrounds with a fun-filled visit to Petty Pool Outdoor Centre with the aim of inspiring & engaging participants outside the classroom. So far over 3800 children have benefitted from UKGO in the last seven years, every child sponsored by Rotary NW & Isle of Man.

Project challenges:

  • Lack of opportunities to explore nature in the countryside.
  • Limited opportunities to experience exciting outdoor activities.
  • Limited funding and financial constraints on schools & families.
